That’s all so you that I just want to huggle it. The red browns and the cowboy hat and the horsy and Henty books? The only thing it’s missing is a violin leaning casually against the wall.
Although I guess you’re not the type to leave your darlings lying about, are you? *grins delightedly*
Hi Beth,
Your new desk looks great! Especially right under those book shelves. It is very attractive.
And I agree that “happiness” is indeed the correct description.
Beth, you ought to get one of those instrument wall-hanger things. I think I might like to have one, myself, but then my violin would probably spend hardly any time in its case apart from transporting. Probably not the best for the instrument, but it would look really awesome!
Very neat work area, too, btw. I’m looking at my desk in front of me right now and it leaves a lot to be desired in the way of tidiness… *raises one eyebrow*
Yup, just missing the violin, bridle, lasso-and the Confederate Battle Flag! Lol.
I’ve always wanted my own desk; but when you share a room with three of your brothers, there is not really room.
But about Henty-mine are odd looking paper backs (I hate paperbacks. I get hardbacks whenever they’re affordable.). And what is ridiculous is that my “With Lee in Virginia” has a picture of ol’ Lincoln boy on the front! Go figure!

I love it! It’s very you. And so deliciously organized… *is motivated*
Those Henty books are all too familiar, as the same exact copies have been sitting on our schoolroom bookshelves for positively eons. My mom picked them up from a thrift store in the hope that someone would want to read them, but alas; it was never meant to be.
Oh I love it! We just moved into our new house and left in my room was a desk. *grins* It’s not as pretty as yours, but it is a desk!
I love your books shelves, and the paint color looks great!

Wow, I’m impressed. You can recognize Henty from this distance? *grin*
And yeah, no chance I’ll leave Frank or Felix out leaning against the wall. Although they’d certainly look cool there.
What’s really sad is that I didn’t have a place to hang my bridle or lasso. *sigh* Ah, well.
