Almost There
As I post this, I’m realizing that I never gave any intro as to where we’re headed this week. To keep in brief, this is the real last tournament of the year—Nationals. My sister will be competing in several events; the rest of us attend as cheerleaders. Here’s the first blog post of the trip:

Howdy, y’all! Today’s travels finds the Maisano group in Nashville, Tennessee, visiting with friends and having a wonderful time. Later this evening we’ll arrive in Greenville. A few pictures from our journey thus far…

Apparently, some people thought the temperature in the car was a bit chilly.

We took a break at a rest stop in Arkansas. Hurrah for finally making it out of Texas!

We saw a tank on the road…

…which thrilled certain members of the group.

Oh, look. A self-portrait.

Staying with long-time family friends, and wonderful hosts. Dinner was amazing.

Toni’s favorite was the ice tea.

We had some entertainment…
…and then we stopped taking pictures in favor of more interesting activities. Sorry. Now it’s onward to South Carolina…

Wow! I can’t believe that Nationals is already almost here!
Time sure flies by fast!
Cool! Awesome trip… I should get a tank for you Paul! BTW this is the first comment, and blog for me to look at on my new laptop
Oh Paul, there is a guy here in Marble falls that has a lot of Army equipment; he has a Humvee, a car that looks like a tank, etc.
Thanks for the pictures Beth! It is quite thoughtful of you to make us lonely peoples at home feel just a little more like we are there with y’all.
please keep up the pix if possible!!
Thanks again,
Ben

You know how I was doing the summer challenge with Anan? Well i’ve only written 1000 words so far *hides* Ack! I’ll never finish, I’m such a procratinator
You’ll have to come over some time and help me think up a plot for NaNo.. one that I can actually write 50,000 words about. You see I’ve had lots of ideas, just none that I can write 50,000 words on…
I’ve been going around and randomly leaving long comments on everyones blogs tis been fun, but I missed you. Tis so sad, you go away for one week and I am in this state of… complete randomness
