BBC and Home-Grown Spaghetti
Some April Fool’s Day jokes are too good to pass up—especially when they’re perpetrated by the world’s largest broadcaster, BBC. Take a step back in time, to April 1st, 1957…
Nor has BBC forgotten its tradition of April foolery. Last year, the world was given a glimpse of a previously unknown wonder:
Humor is a wonderful thing.

Did you see the other penguin video? The one where they showed how they did that. Awesome! Now we will never be able to believe anything we see on YouTube anymore. LOL.

Haha! Think of all those little kids who think penguins can fly! It sounds like something my brothers would have told me when I was younger.

You know, Bethy, sometimes commenting on your blog is like praying. I know you can hear me and it’s somehow comforting to pour my heart out to you, but it can get discouraging when you just don’t seem to answer me tangibly.
Although there the similarity ends, as it’s easier to imagine how God would react to things than how you would. Also, God actually does answer.
(By the way, your hair looks so awesome these days! Have you had it cut? *squees blondeishly*)

The spaghetti one was great! They actually filmed that in 1957? The penguin one was funny, too. Can you imagine how fast penguins would have to flap their wings in real life, if they could fly? It would be hilarious!
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Wow, I hadn’t seen that before—very funny. However, they sure made it realistic and I can understand how people could have fallen for it.

Whoa, that’s kind of funny about you kind of knowing the Boohers. One of them attended our church for a while, and we love going to their concerts. Have you ever heard any of their music? We really like it. I wish more country music was like that.
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!
