Sunny Days

Trees are blossoming, weather is warming, and bluebonnets are appearing along the highway—spring is around the corner!  I love this time of year.

I had every good intention of posting at least once over the weekend, but as you can see, those plans fell through.  Tournaments have habit of running till mad hours of the night, and when it comes to choosing between a shower or a blog post…well.

Suffice it to say that it was a good tournament, with its share of disappointments and thrills.  Since I was so lucky as to be attending as a timer only, I was able to time a good number of rounds and keep fairly busy.  As always, my flows were filled with marvelous intellectual insights concerning each round:

Maisano/Morgan rock…eth.  Also included is a brief summary of the second affirmative and negative speeches: “Our plan is good,” countered by, “Is not.”

It was a tiring weekend, and I’m glad to be home (again).   Next week is another tournament.  Hopefully we’ll be enjoying some “real life” before then.  My poor horses, abandoned since December!

All that said, this post is simply a reminder that all is not lost.  I’ll be a good blogger eventually…say, after the NCFCA season ends…
